Genesis 1 is a religious passage that describes the creation of Earth and life. The writings describe the events of the first few days on Earth. It describes how God created man, animals and all of the elements that they would survive on. Social Darwinists believe that God created the most basic life forms on Earth and their growth and transformation was only by the occurrence of natural selection and not by Gods will. On the other hand, religious scholars believe that the creation and evolution of animals is strictly under Gods control.
